Voidscan (born Brooks Davis) is an American multi-instrumentalist from Aiea, Hawaii, currently residing in Wildlight, Florida. He has been active in the music scene since the late 1990s, performing with various bands across multiple genres. His current musical projects are Voidscan & Bomb Squad Salmon.Voidscan's debut release, an EP titled Impulse, was released in October 2024. The EP consists of four tracks, blending elements of tech house, hip-hop, and synthwave. The cover art for Impulse was inspired by the work of Rob Sheridan, particularly his designs for the band Nine Inch Nails.Voidscan released the EP Rubicon, Pt. 1 as a precursor to The Rubicon Saga a full length concept album about the rise and fall of AI powered machines. Rubicon, Pt. 1 features four tracks, again blending elements of various electronic music genres, further representing Voidscan's versatility."The Rubicon Saga serves as the soundtrack to the vivid narrative unfolding within my mind, bringing a cinematic experience to life through music." The twelve track album brings together a diverse collection of electronic music, including industrial, electropunk, tech house, psytrance, glitchwave and more. A bonus track "End Credits" was made available only on the digital music platform Ampwall.com.
